Remember, No Night Swimming at SJGCC
Our pools are permitted through the state of Florida. Our policies state that the pools are open until dusk, but it is important to remember that as far as the state of Florida is concerned, dusk is not the same as sunset.
Per Rule #64E-9.008 Of the Florida Department of Health, our pools may operate from 30 minutes After sunrise until 30 minutes Before sunset. We must comply with these rules in order to maintain our permits
The use of the pools is at your own risk.

Update May 2, 2020
To all Residents of St Johns Golf and Country Club
(Sampson Creek Community Development District aka SCCDD)
As restrictions are being lifted with regards to the Covid–19 issues the Amenity staff is working with District staff and with the Chairman of the Board to make preparations to open the Fitness Center and Swimming Pool. During the “period of shut down” The basketball courts, athletic field, playground and tennis courts remained open. These areas remained open because everyone maintained proper protocol when present at these areas.
On Tuesday May 5th at 10am the SCCDD Board will convene to discuss protocol for reopening the fitness center and the swimming pool once these areas are deemed appropriate to be opened. We know that when the pool reopens it will be without lifeguards for a short period of time as the Contractor for lifeguard services furloughed their employees and they will have to re-staff. This means when the pool and splash pad reopen, it will be done without the use of the slide. State Law requires a lifeguard on duty when the slide is in use.
I know that that I speak for the Board, District Staff and Amenity Staff when I say thank you for everyone’s patience and understanding during this unprecedented period of time.
